Last minute customers...

I don't remember how long ago this was....

Last minute customers are really annoying, but I always hope that they aren't doing it on purpose. They lost track of the time, they really needed their prescription that night, etc. However, one night a lady came in with five minutes to go and a shopping list! It was all regular stuff too! She could have drove down the road to a grocery store that would be open for at least another hour to get what she wanted, but NO! She had to come here. So, she was finally done shopping and I was ringing her out. She apologized for being a last minute customer and then proceeded to say how she always hated having last minute customers when she worked in retail......THEN WHY WAS SHE DOING IT TO ME?! I just don't understand people sometimes. They simply don't make sense! AH!
